"I was raised by a blind person and I've spent my whole life around blind people, people in wheelchairs, deaf people, and people with other disabilities. I've seen the way people with disabilities are spoken about instead of being spoken to. I've seen how they face discrimination, exclusion, and lowered expectations. My clients know their bodies better than I do, and I use that knowledge, whether or not they have a disability. I work with clients to develop a strategy that maximizes the potential effectiveness of their fitness program, while avoiding any exercises, movements or supplements that could adversely impact them, whether that is related to past injuries, personal preferences, or disabilities. I will work with you to move toward your goals, and I will NOT expect less work from you than anyone else, or let you off with a half days work. I am committed to helping everyone I can. As a disabled veteran, I know personally how disabilities can sometimes present unique challenges to us on our health and fitness journeys - and on our journeys through life. I would love to help you on your journey."
